April Pack Meeting: REMINDER… THE APRIL PACK MEETING WILL START AT 6:30 PM ON APRIL 26TH
Join us at this month's Pack Meeting for a fun-filled CARNIVAL put together by our Bear Den! The boys have been working for over a month to put this together, and it will serve to satisfy their "Grin and Bear It" Adventure. Everyone is sure to have a great time!
May Pack Meeting/Advancement Ceremony
This meeting will be our last of the year and the culmination of a year’s worth of work! We will have a cookout, an advancement ceremony, a leaders’ skit and quite possibly a helicopter visit! We are thinking about having the meeting on Saturday May 21st at noon, but we need your feedback. Magness Cub Scout Adventure Camp
At the upcoming pack meeting we will have a sign-up sheet where you can list your name, address and Magness camp out you wish to attend. We will submit this to the appropriate party and your scout will be eligible for a $10 discount. In the meantime, feel free to sign up for which ever session works best for you. You do not need to wait to fill out the sign-up sheet prior to registering for camp. As a reminder, the two sessions we are participating in as a pack are: July 24th – July 27th and July 29th – July 31st. The 1st session is a 4-day, 3-night session that takes place Sunday to Wednesday and the second session is a Friday through Sunday session. Please speak with your den leader to find out if there is a session they may be interested in having the den attend. To reiterate, the Magness CS Adventure camp is an outstanding time for our boys to get a great feel for what scouting is all about. Veteran’s Rendezvous
Community Service is an integral part of being a scout. At this event, scouts will clear tables, get coffee, hold doors and get an opportunity to spend time with some of the veterans of our area. Since we may have the final pack meeting/final ceremony that day, please try and sign up for the early sessions. Currently we have only one scout signed up. BSA Activity
I’ve been looking forward to this event all year. There is SO much for your family to do at this event. Activities, crafts, trebuchets, Dutch oven cooked food and so much more! If you can make it, I highly recommend you take your scout!
The purpose of the annual Denver Area Council Scout Show is to showcase the Scouting program in a way that is accessible to both internal and external customers. It is an opportunity for program enhancement and recruiting for our existing units and a means to introduce Scouting to potential new chartered partners. By having outside vendors participate in the Mid-Way, we give unit leadership access to resources not otherwise readily available
