December Pack Meeting As in years past, our December Pack Meeting (TOMORROW - December 15th) will take place at Elk Run Senior Center in Evergreen where we call BINGO for their residents. Scouts will pair up with a resident to help them mark their cards. Please note the time change for this meeting - we will meet there at 6:00pm and call BINGO from 6:15-7:15pm. This is always a fun event and the residents love it! Please plan to bring a plate of cookies to share as well as a couple of BINGO prizes for the residents to choose from. Keep them "senior friendly," which means no flame candles, no candy, and no gift cards. Prizes well received include battery-operated candles (with batteries), large-print EASY puzzle books, socks, etc. Scouts need to be in Class A uniform.

Pinewood Derby

Save the date! Our annual Pinewood Derby will be held on Saturday, January 30th from noon until 2pm. ALL cars MUST be checked in and weighed on Friday evening, January 29th between 6:00 & 8:00pm. If your car is not checked in during this time, it cannot participate in the race.

We will be having a Derby Workshop on Saturday, January 23rd from 9:00-11:00am at Aspen Ridge Church (downstairs fellowship hall near the windows). If you need assistance completing your car, come on by - there are lots of hands to help. For complete rules and information, be sure to check the Pinewood Derby link on our website.

If you turned in canned goods during our November Pack Meeting and did not receive a Pinewood Derby car kit, please get in touch with Karen Kitchner at karenkitchner@yahoo.com.

2016 Recharter is Almost Here

Just a heads up that our annual Recharter is almost upon us. We are finalizing numbers (dues amounts and popcorn contributions) and will let you know your amount due in the next couple of weeks. Each Den will need to have one parent responsible for collecting Recharter forms and dues from your Den. If you are interested in this role, please speak with your Den Leader.
