Please join us Saturday, December 2nd for the 2017 Conifer Christmas Parade. Every year the scouts participate by riding on the float and tossing out candy. It’s a lot of fun for the scouts as well as the people along the parade route. This year, we’re proud to present a float that represents the past & future of Christmas. Cub Scout Pack 39 presents scenes from classic Christmas movies that we still watch today and will continue to love for many Christmases to come.

It is our hope that the scouts would participate by dressing to the theme. For example, they may dress as one of the characters from a classic Christmas movie, dress as a present, as an elf, or in their Class A shirt with a Santa hat.

Some of the traditional movies featured on the float are: A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown Christmas, the Grinch, Frosty, Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone and possibly more.

The parade will leave the West Jeff Middle School parking lot at 1:45 pm. Please arrive no later than 1:15 pm. The float will be there at noon. The road gets very congested, so plan ahead for parking. The parade route is about 1.5 miles long along Sutton Road in Conifer. This year, the float will end and park between Dallman and Davis rather than return to the middle school. All scouts can be picked up here, in the parking lot behind the Aspen Park Village Center. The parade map with these details is attached.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!!!
