May Pack Meeting/Advancement Ceremony:

This meeting will be our last of the year and the culmination of a year’s worth of work! We will have an advancement ceremony, BBQ, leaders’ skit and a helicopter visit! The ceremony will take place Tuesday, May 24th at the Barn at Evergreen Highlands. Dinner will begin at 6:00 PM with the opening flag ceremony taking place at 6:30 PM.

We could still use YOUR help! We are in need of a grill or two, a griller or two, AND folks to show up early to help set up. Please reach out to leadership if you are able to assist.

Veteran’s Rendezvous

There are still just TWO slots left! A big thank you to those who have committed a small amount of your time for a good cause. The date and time of the event is 5/21/16 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. It’s a great opportunity for the boys to meet some of the local veterans and show our appreciation for their service. Memorial Day Weekend Flag Placement

Earlier this evening I forwarded onto you an email from Art Gutierrez asking for your participation in the placing of flags at veteran graves at the two Evergreen cemeteries. Last year there were several of our pack at the Evergreen Memorial Park location and I hope to see even more this year. Magness Cub Scout Adventure Camp:

It’s still not too late to sign up! As a reminder, the two sessions we are participating in as a pack are: July 24th – July 27th and July 29th – July 31st. The 1st session is a 4-day, 3-night session that takes place Sunday to Wednesday and the second session is a Friday through Sunday session. Please speak with your den leader to find out if there is a session they may be interested in having the den attend. To reiterate, the Magness CS Adventure camp is an outstanding time for our boys to get a great feel for what scouting is all about. Camping, fellowship, archery, BB guns, hikes, games, skits and SO much more.
