November Pack Meeting - TOMORROW NIGHT!! Tomorrow night marks our annual Dad & Lad Cake Bake! Hopefully you Dads (or uncles, brothers, granddads, etc.) and Lads have been getting creative and are ready to bring your best delicacy to tomorrow's Pack Meeting! It does not have to be a cake - brownies, cupcakes, etc. are all acceptable, but please respect our host church's NO NUT POLICY. All Dens will be judged separately (including a sibling class) on the following categories:

Most Original

Best Looking

Best Scouting Theme

In addition, this is the month where we will be giving out Pinewood Derby kits in exchange for TWO CANNED GOODS to support our local food banks. We will also be doing our final Bobcat ceremony for our wonderful Wolf Scouts!! And finally, our top popcorn sellers will be choosing their adult "victim" to take a pie in the face! Be afraid... be very afraid! All of these festivities begin at 7pm!

Winter Coat Drive by the Tiger Den!

The Tigers are doing a coat drive within their den as one of the service projects for their next belt loop. Could you consider bringing a donation to the Pack Meeting tomorrow night? The coats will be going to a Mental Health clinic in Denver and then be distributed to the homeless population that they serve. Adult-sized coats are requested more than children's. Thank you so much for your help with this very meaningful service project!

Popcorn Money Due!

Remember that all popcorn money needs to be turned in to one of our Popcorn Kernels by tomorrow night at the Pack Meeting!

Conifer Holiday Parade

From Nanci Blanton - our 2015 Parade Coordinator (THANKS, Nanci!!):

The Conifer Christmas parade is coming up - December 5th, to be exact! This year, the theme is Hollywood, so we are going to have our boys star in and "film" Star Cubs: Return of the Pack 39. If your son has a Star Wars character costume left over from Halloween, please plan to send him in it. If not, there will be plenty of other opportunities - we'll have some movie clappers and other props for directors, camera crew, and other film crew. At this time, we are requesting no weapons other than plastic light sabers (Storm Troopers can't shoot worth a darn anyway). We will need candy donations to give to spectators along the route and we'll need help building our set and signs. Email Nanci Blanton at NLBlanton@yahoo.com if you can help or have some creative ideas.

December Pack Meeting

As in years past, our December Pack Meeting (December 15th) will take place at Elk Run Senior Center in Evergreen where we traditionally call BINGO for their residents. Please note the time change for this meeting - we will meet there at 6:00pm and call BINGO from 6:15-7:15pm. This is always a fun event and the residents love it! Please plan to bring a plate of cookies to share as well as a couple of BINGO prizes for the residents to choose from. Keep them "senior friendly," which means no flame candles, no candy, and no gift cards. Prizes well received include battery-operated candles (with batteries), large-print EASY puzzle books, socks, etc. Scouts need to be in Class A uniform.
