Weekly Scout Post--October 17, 2019

Pack 39 will be hosting a pool party at the Buchanan Recreation Center on Saturday, November 9 from 6:00pm - 10:00pm. We rented out the facility and have access to the pool and party room. Pizza and drinks will be provided. It will be loads of fun!!

October Pack Meeting

At our October Pack Meeting, we will celebrate the achievements of some of our new scouts with the Bobcat Ceremony. We encourage all new scouts to meet the Bobcat requirements in advance of this meeting. These new scouts have been busy learning the scout oath, law, sign, handshake, and motto. Please join us in celebrating them in a symbolic ceremony.

After this ceremony, we will have our annual carved pumpkin contest! Please bring an already decorated and/or carved pumpkin to the meeting! (no guns or weapons in your decorations, please). Judging categories will be scariest, most creative & most amusing. We will also have a group for siblings.

Webelos Night at Local Scouting Troops

Get a sneak peek at some of the local Boy Scout troops.

· Troop 888 invites all Webelos and AOL scouts to their Webelos Open House on Oct. 22^nd from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Lutheran Church of Evergreen

· Troop 400 invites all Webelos and AOL scouts to their Webelos Open House’s on Sept. 30^th 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Oct. 21^st from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Conifer Community Church

· Troop 737 invites all Webelos and AOL scouts to their Webelos Open House on Oct. 21^st at from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Evergreen Lutheran Church

Popcorn, Popcorn and more Popcorn!

As of October 9, 2019, our pack has sold over $52,000 in popcorn! Although the “Show and Sells” and wagon sales are over, scouts can still sell through the app/online sales.

Class A Uniforms

Remember that your Scouts can wear their Class A uniforms to school on days when they will be meeting as a Den or a Pack. This helps show pride in the Scouting organization, and helps other kids gain interest. Encourage them to proudly wear their Scout uniform and positively represent our Pack!

Class B Uniforms & Pack 39 Patches

Class B shirts will be available at Pack Meetings for $15 each. We have an assortment of kids and adult sizes. In addition, we have exclusive "Pack 39" patches for $3 each. Please see a Den Leader or our Treasurer at the next Pack meeting if you'd like to purchase any of these items.
