Parade Float Preparations

Dear Pack 39, here is an update on the float details:

1) We need to know ahead of time who will be participating in the parade as we need to let the organizers of the parade know as soon as possible. Please contact us by November 24th and indicate that you wish to take part.

2) Den Leaders, please coordinate: each Den who would like to participate needs to make ONE or TWO banners and ONE or TWO Christmas presents. The present box that we had on Tuesday was just an old box wrapped in Christmas paper with a ribbon and holes cut for the arms and head. The banners need to have "Merry Christmas" in different languages on both sides.

3) Friday November 28th from 1 to 4 we will be putting the float together. We will be painting the sleigh, putting on the lights, and wrapping boxes. Please contact us if you are going to come so we know how much help we will have. We will then send you the address.

4) If anyone has extra Christmas lights, Christmas paper, boxes of candy canes, or fake snow to donate to the float it would be gratefully received. Please contact us if you have any of these items.
