Pack 39,

Jen Allbritton (our Activities Chair) and I wanted to give everyone as much information as we could with as much notice as possible in hopes that you will plan to attend the 2015 Scout Show. This is truly an event you don't want to miss!

What: The Scout Show is a fantastic opportunity for families to see all sorts of different Scout-related booths (most run by Packs and Troops) with tons of fun activities that everyone can take part in. Fishing, dutch-oven cooking, shooting, catapulting, climbing... The kids can even bring their Pinewood Derby cars for an opportunity to race against other Scouts. The Scout Shop will also be there with many deals for you to take advantage of. (You will even be able to take a peek at the new Scouting handbooks! ...but don't buy one, as that is something our Pack provides for you!)

When: Saturday, April 25th from 10am until 4pm. If you/your kids would like to meet up with their Scouting friends, our Pack will meet at the main entrance at 10am and enter around 10:10. Keep in mind that the earlier you get there, the better parking spot you will find. Shoot for arriving between 9:30 and 9:45 so you can park and make your way to the entrance. If you can't arrive to enter with the group, still plan to attend! You can enter and leave whenever you'd like.

Where: The event is being held at the National Western Stock Show Complex. Parking is free.

Directions to the complex: From I-70 Eastbound, take the Brighton Blvd. exit (at the Denver Coliseum). At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left, go under I-70, and follow the signs to the National Western Complex.

Who: Families!! ... and this event is not just for Scout families - it is also open to the public, which makes it a great recruiting tool for Scouts. If you know of anyone who may enjoy this event or is interested in learning more about Scouting, invite them to join us!

How Much: Scouts in uniform get in for free! The rest of the family can all get in just for purchasing a $5 Camp Card at the door.

Who to Contact: Our point person for this event will be Tyler Allbritton. He will be at the entrance at 10am and can be reached at 303-641-7189.
