Hello Pack 39!

Here are the important things to know going into this week:

Next Pack Meeting

Our next Pack Meeting is on Tuesday, September 23rd. It is our BRING A FRIEND night! If you know of a boy who would like to get involved with Scouting, please invite him to this meeting! We will be playing some fun Minute-to-Win-It games and we'd love to introduce new families to our wonderful Pack.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Tuesday, September 16th - Aspen Ridge reserved for Den Meetings. Check with your Den Leader to see if your Den is meeting.

  • Tuesday, September 23rd, 7:00-8:00pm - Pack Meeting at Aspen Ridge Church. This is "Bring a Friend" night - do you know of a boy who would love to get involved in Cub Scouts? Bring him to this meeting and let's show him how much fun we have!

  • Tuesday, October 7th - Aspen Ridge reserved for Den Meetings. Check with your Den Leader to see if your Den is meeting.

  • Tuesday, October 14th - Committee Meeting for Leaders & parents. Anyone is welcome to attend and help us plan and run a great Pack! Reply to this e-mail for the location as it changes monthly.

  • Saturday, October 18th - TENTATIVE date for our Corn Maze outing. Stay tuned for details as they unfold.

Class B T-Shirts

At our next Pack Meeting, we will have our yellow "Class B" t-shirts available for sale. These are what we wear for less formal outings such as camping, hikes, etc. The cost is $10 each and we have them in child and adult sizes. Be sure to pick yours up!

Pack 39 Patches

Barring any shipping delays, we will have our new Pack 39 patches available for sale at our next Pack Meeting. This is one single patch (instead of a separate "3" and "9") that is easier to sew onto the uniforms and it also commemorates the 55 years that Pack 39 has existed. Cost is $3 each.

Popcorn Sales - Still Going on!

Our popcorn sales are going well - check this link for some statistics broken down by Den! Remember, if your son sells $325 in popcorn, his recharter dues in February will be PAID for! There are still some shifts available at local show & sells: click here to sign up.

Patriot's Day Flag Ceremony

Thank you to all of the Scouts and parents who helped us at last week's Patriot's Day ceremony! Watch for pictures in the newspaper, as I was asked to give names to the reporter on assignment.

Have you hugged your Scout today?
