There are still plenty of spots available, so take this quick minute right now and sign your Scout up! Popcorn Sign-ups Note: The BEST weekend to sell is always the 1st weekend! There are openings available! Remember, not only can you sell popcorn through the “Show and Sells,” but you can do it via your popcorn sales sheet you received at the Pack meeting as well as online! If you weren’t at the pack meeting, do not worry! One or both of our Popcorn Kernel’s will be making the rounds at the den meetings tomorrow and they will have additional sell sheets. If you’d like to register your son online to sell popcorn to far away friends and family you can do so here àOnline sign up. Remember, that by selling popcorn and reaching the designated goal, your Pack dues will be $0.00 when re-charter comes around! Plus, the kids can earn terrific prizes and the winning den will receive a pizza party!

The Golden Ticket… Throughout our area this year, there are certain locations where when a boy knocks in to one of these households/businesses he will be given a Golden Ticket to come and redeem at the Denver Area Council for a prize. This year the 35 prizes that are to there for the boys to choose from are: Seven 2017 Denver Area Camperships for up to $75, Seven Star Wars Lego Sets, Seven Coleman Tents, Seven Android Tablets, and Seven Hiking/Fishing Sets.

Each Friday going forward there will be tips given as to where these locations are and as the weeks pass the tips will become more detailed. Here are the tips we have now:

Ticket #1: Is at a residence in Littleton… House is white and faces north…

Ticket #2: Is at a residence in Littleton… House is beige and faces Southwest…

Ticket #3: Is at a residence in Lakewood… Look for the giant tree on the corner…

Ticket #4: Is at a business in Conifer… The business is locally owned…

Ticket #5: Is at a business in Bailey… The business started as one room in a grocery store…

Look for the next set of clues this coming Friday!

Soon we will update the pack site with 2016 statistics, and a total amount you need to sell to cover pack dues.

FINALLY… We will need help picking up the initial load of popcorn on Friday evening September 9th. We will need a total of 4 SUV/Trucks to help bring the popcorn up the mountain. If we cannot get 4 trucks the pack will have to incur the cost of renting a moving truck. So, if you can help… PLEASE DO SO! Reach out to John Hansen at 303.520.3826.

Class A Uniforms

Remember that your Scouts can wear their Class A uniforms to school on days when they will be meeting as a Den or a Pack. This helps show pride in the Scouting organization, and helps other kids gain interest. Please be sure your Scout wears his uniform properly. This means the shirt should be clean, ironed and tucked in. To help them understand why this is important, perhaps you can draw an analogy of what their thoughts might be if .they were to see a police officer with his/her uniform shirt untucked. Or a business man (perhaps even their dad) going to a business meeting with his dress shirt untucked. Encourage them to proudly wear their Scout uniform and positively represent our Pack!

Class B Uniforms & Pack 39 Patches

Class B shirts will be available at Pack Meetings for $15 each. We have an assortment of kids and adult sizes. In addition, we have exclusive "Pack 39" patches for $3 each. Please see a Den Leader or our Treasurer (Ellen Williams) at the next Pack meeting if you'd like to purchase any of these items.
