Hello Pack 39!

I would like to introduce myself for those of you who don't know me. I am Michele Force, newly appointed Assistant Cubmaster for Pack 39. My job is to support our fearless leader, Patrick Harrington, and help ensure everyone stays informed on the "goings-on" in our Pack. This is the first of what will become a weekly e-mail - please always take a minute to read through these items so you don't miss out on anything!

Popcorn Sales - Going on NOW!

Selling popcorn is our main fundraiser for the year. The proceeds we earn help pay for things like awards & patches for the boys, Pinewood Derby kits, Neckerchiefs/slides, and Handbooks. In addition, if your son sells $325 in popcorn, his recharter dues in February will be PAID for! Cub Scout Leader Training

On September 13th, there will be some LOCAL training classes that we'd like to see several of you attend. They will be held right here in Conifer at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church. Among the classes offered will be Den Leader Specific Training (Tiger, Wolf, & Bear), Webelos Leader training, and Youth Protection Training (EVERY adult registered with the Pack needs this training). Den Meeting Schedule

We have space reserved at Aspen Ridge Church on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month for Den Meetings between the hours of 6-8pm. Your Den Leader will communicate with you what your particular Den Meeting schedule is.

We are pleased to announce that our Pack 39 website is getting a face-lift! Stay tuned for the exciting launch!

Upcoming Dates:

• Tuesday, September 9th, 6:30-8:00pm - Committee Meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend and help us plan and run a great Pack! Reply to this e-mail for the location as it changes monthly.

• Tuesday, September 23rd, 7:00-8:00pm - Pack Meeting at Aspen Ridge Church. This is "Bring a Friend" night - do you know of a boy who would love to get involved in Cub Scouts? Bring him to this meeting and let's show him how much fun we have!
