Weekly Scout Post - December 20, 2016

December Pack Meeting, TONIGHT!Please join us at Elk Run Senior Center in Evergreen where we’ll enjoy an evening of BINGO with their residents. Scouts will pair up with a resident to help them mark their cards. Please note the time change for this meeting - we will meet there at 6:00pm and call BINGO from 6:15-7:15pm. This is always a fun event and the residents love it! Scouts need to be in Class A uniform.Skate Night 2017

The first den meeting of the 2017 year will be a night of skating on Evergreen Lake. Join us Tuesday, January 3^rd, 6-8 pm at the lake. In honor of the amazing job the scouts did selling popcorn, this will be a Pack sponsored event (no charge for your scout). We will have our own dedicated warming hut and rink. Do not miss out on this wonderful event!!!

Show up at 5:30 to buy tickets from the cub scout table and canopy that will be set up in front of the lake house, rent skates and enjoy the private warming hut. Skating will begin at 6 pm.

Pine Wood DerbyStart your engines…Our annual Pinewood Derby is coming up F-A-S-T! It will be held on Saturday, January 28th. ALL cars MUST be checked in and weighed on Friday evening, January 27th between 6:00 & 8:00pm. If your car is not checked in during this time, it cannot participate in the race.We will be having a Derby Workshop on Saturday, January 14th at Aspen Ridge Church (downstairs fellowship hall near the windows). If you need assistance completing your car, come on by - there are lots of hands to help. For complete rules and information, be sure to check the Pinewood Derby link on our website.

Class B Uniforms & Pack 39 Patches

Class B shirts will be available at Pack Meetings for $15 each. We have an assortment of kids and adult sizes. We received a new shipment of small and medium sizes! In addition, we have exclusive "Pack 39" patches for $3 each. Please see a Den Leader or our Treasurer (Ellen Williams) at the next Pack meeting if you'd like to purchase any of these items.

If you purchased a Class B t-shirt that was the wrong size, you may exchange it (if not previously worn or washed) at the next meeting.
