Popcorn

It’s never too early to think about popcorn. As is the case every year, popcorn sales begin soon after the school year does. Show & Sells will begin in September, and a sign-up link will be provided soon. Remember that if you meet the minimum popcorn sales goal, you won't have to pay any Scout dues at re-charter time! Sell $1000 and enjoy a Bronco’s experience. Sell more and receive a scholarship… The list of prizes goes on.

Youth Protection Training

We take our scouts’ safety seriously. True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, regional, area, council, district, and unit levels.

More information and links to this training are located HERE.

Leadership Positions Available

This year we will be setting the expectation that all families donate a portion of their time to the pack. There are MANY ways you can help serve the pack and therein your scout.

  • · Newsletter - Keep the pack up to date with our local Pack and District information in our weekly newsletter and website updates.

  • · Derby Team – We have a Derby leader, but we are looking to round out the staff.

  • · Popcorn staff – Our popcorn program is top notch and is responsible for paying for a lot of the Pack sponsored events. We have a few people already signed on to help, but we are looking for a few more

  • - Christmas Parade Captain and Team – It’s never too early to think about this parade! We’ll need a team to build and handle the logistics for this great time for scouts.

If you are interested, please see Lloyd Kitchner or one of our leadership team for more details.

Class A Uniforms

Remember that your Scouts can wear their Class A uniforms to school on days when they will be meeting as a Den or a Pack. This helps show pride in the Scouting organization, and helps other kids gain interest. Encourage them to proudly wear their Scout uniform and positively represent our Pack!

Class B Uniforms & Pack 39 Patches

Class B shirts will be available at Pack Meetings for $15 each. We have an assortment of kids and adult sizes. In addition, we have exclusive "Pack 39" patches for $3 each. Please see a Den Leader or our Treasurer at the next Pack meeting if you'd like to purchase any of these items.

Pack 39 Website

We strive to keep our website up-to-date as a valuable resource for you. It is the best place to stay up-to-date on all things Pack 39 related. The "Pack News" section has copies of these weekly posts so you can easily find them again.
