Pine Wood DerbyStart your engines…Our annual Pinewood Derby is coming up F-A-S-T! It will be held on Saturday, January 28th. ALL cars MUST be checked in and weighed on Friday evening, January 27th between 6:00 & 8:00pm. If your car is not checked in during this time, it cannot participate in the race. There will be three divisions for the race:

The Scout Derby - with the three fastest cars qualifying for prizes, and winners from each den for speed and creativity.

The Parent Derby - with the leaders and parents competing against each other.

The Sibling Derby - Scout brothers and sisters through fifth grade can enter their own cars. Kids in sixth grade or above will be placed in the parent division.

And one extra contest for fun:

The Ladies Derby - What would a derby be without appropriate attire? Ladies, this is the opportunity to show off your homemade derby hat! Winning look gets a gift card.

January Pack MeetingGet ready for a meeting full of games & excitement! The Tiger Den has been busy and is ready to move up in rank. We’ll celebrate their amazing journey with an advancement ceremony. If that wasn’t enough excitement, the Webelos will lead the Pack in games. 2017 Recharter is Almost Here

Our annual Recharter is here. Your den leaders will be sharing with you a spreadsheet that shows the amount your family owes for 2017 dues. These amounts include district dues as well as Pack dues. The maximum amount that anyone will owe is $150 for the year (the only other amount you would owe on top of this is $12 should you choose to subscribe to the Boys Life publication).

Those that met the popcorn selling goal of $600 will not owe anything (unless they want Boys Life). Those that sold SOME popcorn will pay a percentage of the $150. Those that did not sell any popcorn will cover the entire amount. Please bring your checkbook to your next den meeting.

Arrow of Light and Blue and Gold CeremonyFebruary’s Pack meeting will be a special evening! Our Arrow of Light scouts will take their final steps as Cub Scouts and cross over to Boy Scouts. This special ceremony represents many years of hard work on the part of these boys and we hope that all of you can attend and play a part in making this ceremony as special as possible for them. It’s hard to believe, but your boys as well will likely be a part of this ceremony in the years to follow too.The evening will begin at 6:30 PM and dinner will be included at no cost for our scouts and scout leaders, and we would ask for $5 donation from all others

Class B Uniforms & Pack 39 Patches

Class B shirts will be available at Pack Meetings for $15 each. We have an assortment of kids and adult sizes. We received a new shipment of small and medium sizes! In addition, we have exclusive "Pack 39" patches for $3 each. Please see a Den Leader or our Treasurer at the next Pack meeting if you'd like to purchase any of these items.

If you purchased a Class B t-shirt that was the wrong size, you may exchange it (if not previously worn or washed) at the next meeting.
