The Pack will be venturing off to the After Dark Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms. Scouts and their families will find their way through the maze with only the light from a glow stick. (Note: the maze is not haunted).
Please join us on Friday, October 11th. Be there no later than 6:30 PM The scout check in table will be located by the ticket booth (do not buy tickets at the booth). Scouts, Leaders, and one parent will be paid by the pack. Other parents and siblings are additional. Please see the for additional details. Please RSVP by October 8th on this Corn Maze Link. As of right now we have very few people that have signed up, so please do so ASAP!!!
October Pack Meeting
At our October Pack Meeting, we will celebrate the achievements of some of our new scouts with the Bobcat Ceremony. We encourage all new scouts to meet the Bobcat requirements in advance of this meeting. These new scouts have been busy learning the scout oath, law, sign, handshake, and motto. Please join us in celebrating them in a symbolic ceremony.
After this ceremony, we will have our annual carved pumpkin contest! Please bring an already decorated and/or carved pumpkin to the meeting! (no guns or weapons in your decorations, please). Judging categories will be scariest, most creative & most amusing. We will also have a group for siblings.
Webelos Night at Local Scouting Troops
Get a sneak peek at some of the local Boy Scout troops.
· TONIGHT: Troop 1776 invites all Webelos & AOL scouts to their open house tonight at 6:00 PM. See what they’re all about while enjoying a campfire and dutch oven treats. Church of the Hills.
· Troop 888 invites all Webelos and AOL scouts to their Webelos Open House on Oct. 22nd from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Lutheran Church of Evergreen
· Troop 400 invites all Webelos and AOL scouts to their Webelos Open House’s on Sept. 30th 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Oct. 21st from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Conifer Community Church
· Troop 737 invites all Webelos and AOL scouts to their Webelos Open House on Oct. 21st at from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Evergreen Lutheran Church
Popcorn, Popcorn and more Popcorn!
We continue to be amazed at the participation and enthusiasm that each of you bring to the table. The effort put forth by each of you to help ensure we have a fun year (and free dues) continues to impress. We have made $42,500 in Show & Sells already!
Remember, not only can you sell popcorn through the “Show and Sells,” but you can do it via your popcorn sales sheet you received at the Pack meeting as well as online, and through neighborhood blitzes! WE ARE AT OUR FINAL WEEKEND OF SALES! LOT’S OF SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE. GRAB ONE OR TWO RIGHT NOW! Finally, all “wagon” (sheet) sales must be turned into Bethany by 10/15/19.
Class A Uniforms
Remember that your Scouts can wear their Class A uniforms to school on days when they will be meeting as a Den or a Pack. This helps show pride in the Scouting organization, and helps other kids gain interest. Encourage them to proudly wear their Scout uniform and positively represent our Pack!
Class B Uniforms & Pack 39 Patches
Class B shirts will be available at Pack Meetings for $15 each. We have an assortment of kids and adult sizes. In addition, we have exclusive "Pack 39" patches for $3 each. Please see a Den Leader or our Treasurer at the next Pack meeting if you'd like to purchase any of these items.
