Patriot’s Day Event at Schools

This Wednesday 9/11 is Patriots Day at Marshdale Elementary. There will be a flag ceremony at the start of school to commemorate the tragic events of 9/11. They will also honor veterans and first responders from our community. Please have your scout dress up in their Class A uniforms if they would like to participate.

Popcorn, Popcorn and more Popcorn!

Our first weekend is in the books and we are off to a blazing start! We have plenty of slots left for Show and Sells and we need your help to fill them!

Remember, not only can you sell popcorn through the “Show and Sells,” but you can do it via your popcorn sales sheet you received at the Pack meeting as well as online, and through neighborhood blitzes! Please reach out to our superstar kernel Bethany Van Mill for any questions! bvanmill@sbcglobal.net

Youth Protection Training

We take our scouts’ safety seriously. True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, regional, area, council, district, and unit levels.

More information and links to this training are located HERE.

Class A Uniforms

Remember that your Scouts can wear their Class A uniforms to school on days when they will be meeting as a Den or a Pack. This helps show pride in the Scouting organization, and helps other kids gain interest. Encourage them to proudly wear their Scout uniform and positively represent our Pack!
